This video is to demonstrate how to make haleem or halim. It is a very popular Indian, Pakistani and delicacy of other south Asian countries that is very popular in the holy month of Ramadan. It is mostly eaten for and after iftar. Haleem is mostly minced or diced meat with lentil. There are chicken, mutton, beef and lamb haleem. It is also sold in restaurants. One should not be surprised if one sees haleem as street food in busy Indian or Pakistani cities.
