Pork and Shrimp Shumai Recipe - Steamed Chinese Dumpling, Dim Sum Ingredients: 1 package Goyza wrappers (round) Filling: 1/2 pound ground pork 3 chopped large shrimp 1 chopped shiitake mushroom 1 shallot minced 1 teaspoon minced ginger 2 teaspoons oyster sauce 1 teaspoon rice wine 1/8 teaspoon sesame oil 1/4 teaspoon sugar Sauce: 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon garlic chili sauce Preparation: 1. Combine all ingredients for filling 2. Add 2 teaspoons filling to wet wrapper 3. Fold in edges in eighths 4. Steam on boiling water for 10 minutes 5. Mix ingredients for sauce and serve hot Makes about one dozen. HINT: Pack wrappers full of fulling, without air. Seal at the top otherwise they will unravel during cooking.
