Use any cream suitable for whipping and the kind of cream you would use if you were making whipped cream from a dessert. This is a home made version of ice cream. It does not contain the anti-freeze additives that shop bought ice cream has. When you take the ice cream out of the freezer, it will be solid like ice. simply leave the ice cream out of the freezer for 10-15 minutes to soften and then serve.
