Today we are making a special dessert for Valentine's Day: Chili Pepper Chocolate Pot de Crème! Pot de Crème literally means in French a "pot of cream". It is a French dessert custard that has a light texture. However, I am going to show you how to do it my way where I cook the custard on the stove for a few minutes until the cream thickens before baking it in the oven. This makes the chocolate cream dense and rich, which is perfect for Valentine's Day! Also, we are going to bring passion to this dessert by flavoring it with red chili pepper!
