In episode 24 of Masterchef Kitchen Ke Superstar, aired on 11th April 2013, Team Lal Badshah wins the challenge. Team Lal Badshah bakes a 6 tiered cake containing 6 different flavours, grape, mango, apple, pineapple, coconut and cardamom. Happy and Sachin demold the cake and apply the icing, while Aditi and Yasmin make the fondant. Team Neele Nawab's cake burns in the oven. The cake breaks into two while demolding.

In episode 22 of Masterchef - Kitchen Ke Superstar, aired on 9th April 2013, Ripu wins the challenge with his Maharashtrian pizza. Navneet burns his Rajasthani pizza. Khoku fails to impress the judges with her Mughlai pizza, whereas Doel impresses the judges with her Maharashtrian pizza. Devyani's Kashmiri pizza, Aditi's Goan pizza, Yasmin's Punjabi pizza and Sachin's Andhra Pradesh pizza lack abundant Indian flavours. Jehan prepares his pizza without cheese. The judges do not taste his pizza. Ripu wins the challenge with his Maharashtrian pizza.

With Joseph Rozario eliminated from the competition, the two finalists of Master Chef India 2, Shipra Khanna and Shazia Fathima battle it out to win the prestigious title of Master Chef along with one crore rupees, three days and four nights London trip, a cooking show and Master Chef cookbook deal. Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar, the Master Chef judges, Vikas Khanna, Ajay Chopra and Kunal Kapur along with one hundred viewers of the show will taste the signature dishes of the two finalists, in the second round of the Grand finale. The one hundred viewers of the show vote and choose Shipra Khanna as the next Master Chef of India.

MasterChef India is hosted by Akshay Kumar, Ajay Chopra and Kunal Kapoor. Initial rounds consist of a large number of hopeful contestants from across India individually auditioning by presenting a food dish before the three judges to get the MasterChef title for the 100 contestants. Judges go to Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Indore, Jaipur and Ahmedabad for the MasterChef audition.
